Where Is The Lamb?

Where, oh, where is the lamb?
In the stable, of course,
Among the oxen and goats,
The braying donkey and horse.

But why, oh, why does the lamb
Call there, so softly bleating?
For he knows his own fate:
Suffering, beaten, bleeding.

When, oh, when, little Lamb
Will your throne reclaim?
I have come, and I am coming,
And I will surely come again!
